The Quantum Storage Systems WR86-2436C starter kit is designed to assemble a modular four-tier wire shelving unit. This kit includes four wire shelves, four posts, and split sleeves.
The shelves and posts are constructed from chrome-finished carbon steel, providing strength, durability, and resistance to dirt buildup and corrosion. The open wire design of the shelves allows for air circulation, visibility of contents, and helps prevent dust accumulation.
The wire shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments to accommodate items of varying heights. They have a welded construction reinforced with wire trusses and struts for added strength. The posts are grooved at 1" intervals to assist in the installation of shelves at desired heights, and come with adjustable levelers for use on uneven surfaces. Split sleeves on the posts securely hold and support the shelves.
This starter kit meets the National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for use in food handling and processing, specifically for dry storage. The assembled shelving unit measures 86" x 36" x 24" inches (H x W x D) and has a shelf capacity of 600 lbs. when weight is evenly distributed.
